Welcome to Nouvel Catholic Central!  I hope your initial inquiry into our Christ-centered learning community results in a visit and eventually, your choice to come aboard.  At Nouvel, we are seeking truly decent young ladies and gentlemen who are ready to challenge themselves, focus on becoming leaders, and develop the courage to live their faith.  We understand that learning is a process - like leadership development and learning to let Christ work through us are.  Our staff facilitates your learning process in and out of the classroom.

For twenty-four years Nouvel Catholic Central has provided a sound education and encouraged profound learning by students.  We commit to making your learning experience significant through rigorous and relevant academics, a variety of extracurricular opportunities to excel and lead in, meaningful liturgies, invitations to make a difference in the lives of others, and a proud heritage.

I invite you to visit us.  Walk our halls.  Attend our events.  Sit in on a class.  See if you can capture the phenomena known as the Nouvel Difference.  If you and your family are ready to enjoy quantum leaps in learning, Catholic-Christian leadership, and discovery of the possible self you can become, look no further.  Come see us!

 All the best-

Paul D. Fallon, Principal

About the Principal

Mr. Paul D. Fallon was raised in Piscataway, New Jersey and graduated from St. Pius X Regional High School in 1980.  While in high school, he was the cadet commanding officer of the school’s Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program.  After being recognized by the nation’s highest award for a cadet – the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement, Mr. Fallon received a nomination to the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.

Leaving New Jersey in 1980, he attended the College of DuPage – earning an Associates Degree.  Mr. Fallon continued his college studies at the University of Illinois-Chicago and graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  Immediately following graduation, he accepted a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and reported to Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA, for training at The Basic School.  While serving in the Marines, “Captain” Fallon deployed to Europe with an Air Combat Element of F/A-18, A/V 8B Harrier, and OV-10 Bronco aircraft during the Reagan era and the cold war – chasing Soviet submarines out of Norwegian fiords.  As a secondary specialty, Mr. Fallon was placed in charge of a substance abuse counseling center and handled crisis situations with Marines and their families as well as adolescents in the surrounding South Carolina region.  After a total of thirteen active duty and reserve years, Mr. Fallon was honorably discharged in 1997.

A move from Beaufort, South Carolina to Hilton Head Island allowed him to open a counseling center for Charter Hospital of Savannah.  He continued his crisis work with adolescents and families while providing community service presentations and aftercare for persons recovering from addictions.  In 1989, Mr. Fallon accepted a position at Hilton Head Preparatory School where he taught numerous classes and coached prior to becoming the Middle School Dean.  After three years, he traveled north to Charleston, SC, and received a Masters degree in secondary counseling from The Citadel while teaching at Sea Island Academy, just outside of Charleston on a barrier island.  He became Principal of grades 7-12 while serving as athletic director, counselor, coach of various sports, and teacher.

In 1999, Mr. Fallon accepted a Principal position with a large charter school management company and was the founding Principal at North Saginaw Charter Academy on Trautner Drive.  After two years, he was asked to take charge of Paragon Charter Academy in Jackson, MI, prior to becoming a Regional Director of Schools in Michigan, Ohio, and New York.  Mr. Fallon opened several schools in urban settings of Brooklyn and Buffalo, NY, East Cleveland and Euclid, OH, and directed schools in Jackson and Ypsilanti, MI, and Rochester and Syracuse, NY.  In 2005, he left the management company, opened his own educational consulting company called True North Ventures, LLC, and pursued his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.  Mr. Fallon is nearing the final stages of his doctorate degree and writing his dissertation currently.  His area of research attends to the significant learning relationship or nexus shared by some teachers and students.  His publications include Becoming Their Champion – a connectivity training for teachers of adolescents and Nexus Aliquis: In Pursuit of Efficacy, Resilience, and Full Potential -in the international journal; Adolescence.   Mr. Fallon is permanently certified in New York as a (1) School District Administrator and (2) School Administrator and Supervisor.
