Course Description
Students
will reinforce accounting procedures previously
learned and gain a broader understanding of the
business activities needed for effective management.
The use of the microcomputers will be expanded
in Accounting II.
Prerequisite:
Accounting I
Outcomes
The student
will:

Be familiar
with accounting terminology.

Understand
advanced general, cost and managerial accounting
principles and procedures.

Understand
departmental records.

Know a
voucher control system.

Know
corporation organization, issuing stock, and declaring
dividends.

Understand
management accounting (budgeting).

Come to
class with text, workbook, and calculator.
