Course Description
This
course is recommended for students planning on
majoring in Accounting or related business fields.
We will study the accounting cycle as it
relates to small businesses, merchandising businesses
and corporations.
The microcomputers will be used for various
projects throughout the year.
Outcomes
The student
will:

with accounting terminology.

accounting careers.

Know the
steps in the basic accounting cycle for a
proprietorship, a merchandising business and a
corporation.

Know basic
payroll procedures.

Be able to
use computer software in accounting.
